Maple was founded in the year 2018 by Sid Powell and Joe Flanagan. Sid Powell has a background in debt capital markets and the institutional banking systems and serves as the CEO of the company.

How Does Maple Work?

The Maple finance system is designed for large institutional borrowing and not for small-term loans. The loans are given against the reputation of the borrowers and are under collateralized. On Maple, the borrowers do not have to worry about issues such as liquidations or margin calls.

The liquidity providers or the users can earn a fixed passive income with yield opportunities in the Liquidity Pools.
