What is IXO?
IXO is a blockchain-based protocol for the Internet of Impact that enables impact data to be collected, stored and shared in a secure and trusted way. It provides an open source platform that allows anyone to create, track, measure and validate the impact of any project or activity. The IXO protocol enables projects to raise funds, collect data on their impact outcomes and receive rewards for achieving their goals.
The IXO Foundation is a non-profit organization that works with governments, corporations, NGOs and other stakeholders to build an open global network of trust for impact data. This network will enable organizations to securely store, share and analyze data related to social and environmental impacts. By leveraging blockchain technology, the IXO Network will provide real-time insights into the performance of projects around the world.
The IXO Protocol also provides a marketplace where users can buy and sell tokens that represent verified impact outcomes. These tokens are used as incentives for individuals or organizations who have achieved specific goals related to sustainability or social good. The tokenized rewards system encourages people to take action towards creating positive change in their communities.
IXO has partnered with several leading organizations such as UNICEF, WWF International, Microsoft Azure Blockchain Services and others to bring its vision of an open global network of trust for impact data closer to reality.
