What is Oxygen?

Oxygen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas that makes up about 21% of the air we breathe. It is essential for all living things to survive and thrive. Fortunately, there are many ways we can help protect this vital resource such as reducing air pollution or planting trees which absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen back into the environment.
